Square Thin Nut — Product Introduction

The DIN 562 - 1987 square thin nut (also known as square nut or thin square cap nut) is a fastening nut with a square profile and relatively slim thickness. It complies with the German standard DIN 562 and is mainly used in T-slots, fixtures, jigs, adjustment mechanisms, and applications requiring anti-rotation or axial space saving.

The nut is typically used together with T-slot bolts, square-head bolts, or dedicated bolts; its square shape locks into a slot or sits flush against the workpiece surface, preventing the nut from turning while being tightened.
